Kasa Mercantile, Purveyor of Modern-Day Goods, Brings Casual and Sophisticated Home Décor, Clothing and Gifts to Riverlights’ Marina Village
Wilmington, NC – October 7, 2022 -- Kasa Mercantile, a new store offering modern and sophisticated home décor, clothing, and gifts will open at Riverlights’ on October 15. With a goal of sourcing unique brands and products not already carried in Wilmington, owner Sarah Hinson looks to make Kasa a stylish shopping destination for the growing Wilmington market. Kasa Mercantile is located in Riverlights’, Marina Village, where other shops, restaurants, pubs and professional services surround Live Oak Commons, an inviting greenspace with views of the Cape Fear River. Kasa Mercantile will be open Tuesday- Sunday and can be found on Instagram, Facebook and at kasamercantile.com.
Sarah brings years of retail and merchandising experience to the enterprise, having worked for Nordstrom, name brand designers, and privately owned women’s clothing boutiques. “Kasa Mercantile is where you’ll discover affordable luxury and an aesthetic of Southern California meets Southern hospitality,” she said. “I appreciate the relationship building that comes with a small business and look forward to providing a new shopping destination for my neighbors here at Riverlights and throughout Wilmington.” Sarah and her family were among the first homeowners to move into the Riverlights neighborhood and have lived there since 2017.
Kasa Mercantile’s grand opening events will include custom floral demos and bouquets from The Salt Joy Experience, and Fig.7, a local jeweler, which will be soldering bracelets onsite. The store’s soft opening coincides with a return of the pop-up Groove Market that features 30+ local makers and merchants with live music from 10 AM to 2 PM on Live Oak Commons.
