RiverLights Hosts Free Outdoor Concert Series Featuring Local Bands

WILMINGTON, N.C. – June 03, 2019 – The 2019 Outdoor Concert Series at RiverLights will be held again this year in Marina Village on the second Saturday in June, July and August. The concert series will feature local bands and will be free and open to both residents and the public.

June 8, Uncle Hairy Band: the Ultimate Cover Band featuring the most popular music from the 70's, 80's & 90's and today’s hits.

July 13, The Limitations: Back by popular demand, singing and dancing the best in beach, soul and rock.

August 10, Folkstone String Band: hard driving and fast picking bluegrass, old time, Americana, and honkytonk music.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to kick back, relax and enjoy the shows. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from all RiverLights vendors including Smoke on the Water, Magnolia Social Café, Southern Shores, and Club Golf — enjoy everything from snacks and ice cream to a hearty meal paired with your favorite beer or wine. Guests are also welcome to relax in the hammocks, peruse the parks and soak up the beauty of the Cape Fear River on the boardwalk.
