RiverLights Announces Custom-Build Neighborhood Offering Home Lots Overlooking Cape Fear River

WILMINGTON, N.C. – March 25, 2018 – Wilmington residents and relocation-hopefuls will now have a rare opportunity to secure a brand-new home overlooking the beauty and serenity of the Cape Fear River. Home-lot packages are now available for purchase at the all-new Hamp’s Landing neighborhood, nestled within the RiverLights community.

Hamp’s Landing— named after the anthropological artifacts found along the banks of the Cape Fear in the local area— encourages community through a thoughtful land plan and design of custom homes that promotes homeowners to gather, partake in fellowship and share.

For the first selection of homes in this custom neighborhood, RiverLights has chosen builder team member PBC Design + Build, a company with a long track record for beautiful, lasting, high-quality construction and a superlative level of finishes. Choose a plan from PBC Design + Build’s extensive portfolio and customize it with your desired features, or work with your chosen architect to design a distinctive one-of-a-kind home from start to finish.

The homes in Hamp’s Landing will be distinguished by its large size, lush vegetation and unparalleled river views. The neighborhood’s sensitive land plan calls for homes to be sited carefully within the wooded surroundings, maintaining the canopy created by the oaks, pines and cedars arching over the riverbank. Beautiful oyster tabby sidewalks pay homage to the community’s coastal roots and link neighbors to one another. The homes in Hamp’s Landing will tout building materials like brick, cedar shake or Hardie siding, along with expansive windows, which flood these homes with ample natural light.

Hamp’s Landing residents will be provided an opportunity to enjoy an ideal location within the greater RiverLights community itself, just a short walk to special events at Live Oak Commons or to sunset gatherings along the riverfront Boardwalk. The LakeHouse, home to a community clubhouse, fitness center and saltwater pool, is a quick bike or golf cart ride away. Just up the riverfront, Marina Village, with its Day Dock and restaurants, offers countless opportunities for communing with nature and connecting with neighbors.
