Great American Clean Up at Riverlights
This Saturday, June 12 from 8:30-11:00 am, we are partnering with Cape Fear River Watch to clean up the Riverlights lake trail and the Cape Fear River Edge. The event is part of the Great American Cleanup, a project of Keep New Hanover Beautiful’s parent organization Keep America Beautiful. Their mission is to reduce litter, improve recycling efforts, and beautify New Hanover County with the help of dedicated volunteers and community partners.
Haven’t registered yet? No worries! You can still show up on the day of the event to participate.
Feel free to join us afterwards for a celebratory beer at Wrightsville Beach Brewery to support our partner, Cape Fear River Watch. During the entire month of June, 11% of Wrightsville Beach Brewery’s profits from their beer of the month will be donated to the local nonprofit organization.
