Discovery Series: Row Club
Join us Wednesday, May 16th for the RiverLights monthly Discovery Series, featuring the Cape Fear River Rowing Club.
You may have seen rowing shells from the Cape Fear River Rowing Club (CFRRC) row past RiverLights and been curious about getting on the water yourself. Here's your opportunity to try a sport that's not only aesthetically beautiful, but offers the members of CFRRC, who range in age from 19 to 76, a low impact, total body exercise in both recreational and competitive formats. Many of CFRRC’s members had no prior rowing experience before joining the club and learned from one of its "Learn to Row" sessions.
The CFRRC will bring out a shell/boat along with row machines to teach and enlighten about rowing on the Cape Fear River.
